Import Filters [file name ends with cap, e.g. CochWiley.cap]
Cochrane Wiley Systematic Reviews Customized to insert Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews in journal title field (otherwise the title of the review is inserted in the journal field.
OVID databases (Medline, EMBASE, etc.) Export citations from OVID in Reprint/Medlars format for best results.
RIS Files Many databases offer RIS (sometimes called Reference Manager) format, e.g. CINAHL via Ebsco.
Output Styles [filename ends with os, e.g. JAMA.os]
A note on Import Filters and Output Styles
In Reference Manager terms, a FILTER is for bringing data into Reference Manager and an OUTPUT STYLE is for moving data out of Reference Manager. There are hundreds of filters and output styles available and they may be found at the Reference Manager web site. These filters and output styles should also reside on your computer as they are usually downloaded automatically when Reference Manager software is installed; take a look on your computer in : Program Files/Reference Manager/Import Filters or Output Styles.
