Satellites

The Effective Practice and Organisation of Care (EPOC) Group also has satellite sites in Australia, Chile and Norway.

The Australasian satellite of the Effective Practice and Organisation of Care (EPOC) Group assists evidence-based policy making by supporting, promoting and helping to implement systematic reviews of interventions designed to improve health care practice and the delivery of effective health services relevant to Australia and the South East Asia region. The satellite supports EPOC review activity through training and mentoring authors based in Australia who contribute to EPOC reviews. For more information about the Australian EPOC Satellite, please visit our pages.

The Chilean satellite of the Effective Practice and Organisation of Care (EPOC) Group was established in 2019. The satellite has been established to build support in Latin American countries for preparing and utilising systematic reviews to inform important health systems and policy decisions. The Norwegian satellite of the Effective Practice and Organisation of Care (EPOC) Group provides support to authors in low- and middle-income countries and serves as the editorial base for systematic reviews that address health system questions relevant to low- and middle-income countries. We also provide training stipends for review authors from low- and middle-income countries. They receive personal support and instruction from the EPOC editorial team, develop capacity for undertaking systematic reviews, and prepare systematic reviews. For more information about the EPOC Norwegian satellite, please visit our pages.
